4 Ways to be Involved Today

In the wake of the recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida, students across the country have had enough of gun violence and are demanding that Congress take action NOW. On March 14, 2018, Stop School Shootings NOW is calling for a 17-minute walkout at 10 AM, 1 minute for each life lost. Wear orange for gun reform and join students in solidarity. 4 Ways to Be Involved

1. STUDENT/TEACHER WALKOUT AT 10 AM FOR 17 MINUTES
(1 minute for each of 17 lives lost in Parkland, FL shooting)

2. NATIONAL WALKOUT IN SOLIDARITY WITH STUDENTS AT 10 AM
(Wear orange and walkout from home, job, gym, place of worship)

3. CALL FOR PRAYER
(Ring bells at 10AM, 17 times a minute for the duration of the 17 minutes)

4. RALLY AT NOON FOR GUN REFORM
(12 pm rally at state capitol, town square or city hall to demand gun reform)
